Welcome to our family cottage — built into the side of a hill. You will love the fresh air at the top of this gentle mountain — there is *almost* always a breeze!

Once inside, you will find a family room, a bedroom, and a 2-piece bath/laundry room in the walk-in basement.
Go upstairs for: the living room, dining room, kitchen, full bath, queen bedroom and double bedroom. Patio doors take you out to the long verandah for sunrise and sunset.

Our cozy kitchen: Our collection of restaurant dishes has grown! Feel free to use pieces of our collection. The kitchen is a bright spot to cook a simple meal. Make yourself at home and use baking supplies from the cupboard. There’s a coffee-maker, microwave, toaster, slow-cooker and baking pans, cookie sheets and more. Enjoy our ever-expanding collection of restaurant dishes. Take a leisurely breakfast with the morning sun and the birds singing in the trees right outside the window.

An efficient little kitchen, close by the open-concepts dining/living area. Listen to the crackling fireplace while you prepare dinner. Note that there will be firewood outside the entrance for your stay.
A nice family space — a great way to enjoy a holiday together.
Two patio doors (not seen in this photo, but to the left of the photo) open onto the long verandah, with an outdoor dining table.

Put another log on the fire: There’s nothing like the sound of a crackling fire. This large fireplace was made in 1963 by European masons who themselves had cottages on the lake. The fireplace is lined with heat bricks from the Marelan brick factory (later known as Resco).

A second living room is downstairs near the airtight stove. An ideal space for games, reading, hobbies or special projects. In all, the cottage can sleep six quite comfortably.
A two-piece bath, plus a laundry room for your convenience. Use the dryer, or take advantage of the clothesline for wet swimsuits.
